Le Super Pouvoir de l'IA, my first book
Le Super Pouvoir de l'IA is my first book. In it, I explain why AI is not just a matter of tools anymore. The issue to examine also involves code, autonomy and agency.

A personal article about Le Super Pouvoir de l'IA, Anis Ayari's first book, covering his approach to AI, code and autonomy.
Le Super Pouvoir de l'IA is my first book. I wrote it to discuss AI without piling up tools to try or telling a magical story about models. I wanted to return to a simple idea. Understand what these systems enable us to do, what they help us create, and then what we agree to delegate to them.

Why I wrote this book
For years, I have seen the same gap emerging. Some people already use AI every day and are changing the way they work. Others sense that a major change is coming, while keeping their distance because the subject seems too technical, vague or noisy.
With this book, I wanted to offer a clear starting point. The text speaks to people who want to understand what is at stake when AI makes code accessible to many more people, with automation and the creation of tools following from it.
What the book discusses
The book's starting point is captured in this sentence.
Now that AI puts code within reach of almost everyone, who really retains control over the tools, uses and decisions they shift?
I wanted to go beyond ChatGPT, models and productivity. What interests me is how these tools change our relationship with knowledge, work, code and, ultimately, agency.
I also wanted to explain why code is becoming a form of general knowledge. Everyone has their own relationship with software development. However, understanding the digital world becomes harder when the way systems are built, automated and directed remains invisible.
The intention behind the book
I wanted to avoid two overly simple narratives. The book avoids automatic optimism about an AI that would solve everything. It also avoids the anxiety-inducing discourse that confines the subject to a loss of control. The approach I sought rests on use and judgment. Learning to use AI while retaining the ability to decide.
For me, the superpower goes beyond delegating a task to a machine. It lies in the ability to articulate what we want more clearly, understand what we delegate, and then maintain a critical distance. It also lies in the possibility of building or adapting our own tools.
Who I wrote it for
I wrote it for curious people who want to understand AI without unnecessary jargon. I also had in mind professionals who see these tools entering their field and want to retain a solid framework for understanding them. The book is aimed at students and teachers. It also speaks to entrepreneurs and creators. More broadly, it is aimed at those who feel there is still much to learn about interacting with these systems without being intimidated.
Knowing how to code can help, but the book starts from a different goal. Providing enough reference points to understand, decide and avoid being at the mercy of tools.

Why the book is coming out in 2026
In 2026, much of the content about AI swings between promised miracles and catastrophes. With Le Super Pouvoir de l'IA, I wanted to follow a different approach. Return to understanding, practical control and clear thinking.
That is why this first book matters to me. It talks about AI, of course. It also talks about how we maintain agency when tools become capable of acting with us, sometimes in our place. For a broader overview of titles to read this year, my AI book recommendations for 2026 page also brings together useful reference points.
