Tencent lists Hy Image3.5 preview at 0.15 yuan per 2K image
Tencent announced Hy Image3.5 preview on September 21, 2026, a new version intended for professional image creation. Tencent Cloud lists a reference price of 0.15 yuan per 2K output for this model on TokenHub in the Guangzhou region.
Hy Image3.0 already existed, and version 3.5 had undergone testing before this release. IT Home reports that Tencent had begun gradually testing Hy Image3.5 preview in Yuanbao about two months earlier. The news concerns the announcement of this preview version and its professional offering.
An indicative budget of 150 yuan for 1,000 outputs
The Tencent Cloud pricing document details consumption of 15,000 tokens per 2K image, at 10 yuan per million tokens. Tokens are used here to measure billable usage. The calculation yields a reference price of 0.15 yuan. Actual charges depend on the settings, version and usage rules; Tencent specifies that the console and final invoice are authoritative.
According to an editorial calculation, 1,000 2K outputs at the indicative rate used here represent 150 yuan in generation costs in Guangzhou, excluding integration and validation work. This budget covers the images produced, with no guarantee of obtaining 1,000 accepted images.
A technically generated image may be rejected by its creator. When several outputs are needed to retain one, the generation cost per accepted result increases. The listed price therefore provides a trial budget; the cost of the deliverable also depends on selection and review.
Generate, then edit through dialogue

Yicai describes up to five reference images and a maximum 2K output in the offering it reports on. The . The limits described in media coverage therefore do not define the API's general limits. The price of 0.15 yuan used here applies only to the 2K reference rate.
