The project
Val d’Isère is a useful generative-AI case: tourists ask practical local questions, and the assistant needs to answer from trusted destination content.
Technical angle
The architecture is content ingestion, cleanup, indexing, retrieval, generation, guardrails, question monitoring and continuous improvement. In tourism, a stale answer can be as damaging as a wrong one.
What it proves
It shows the ability to deploy generative AI in a real public-facing context with non-technical users and a trust requirement.
